Location History

This building was at one time a theatrical storage building, and a bar. All prior occupants have also reported paranormal activity.
After recent recurring thefts, the present owners installed motion activated security cameras. In the past few months there have been several times that the security tapes indicated activity around midnight in the office and warehouse. After reviewing the video, strange lights and motion were discovered.

Investigators Notes

Becky Ray:On this investigation I used a digital audio recorder, a digital camera, and an 8mm video camera.
After our initial walk through we began setting up our equipment. Around 7:45pm Miranda reported that she heard shuffling footsteps, much like the employees had previously reported hearing.
Once our equipment was all in place, we attempted an EVP session where we quietly just listened and asked questions. I have not found any anomalies in my recording from this time yet, but one of the overhead lights surged and got extremely bright during this time. This was around 8:07pm. Within minutes after this, Shawn had to replace the new batteries in his recorder because they failed.
Just a few minutes after that at 8:13pm Cam 2 on the DVR began to get a strange interference.
After these events, things seem to quiet down except for Laura seeing an odd blue light flicker on the ceiling outside of the main office.
This is definitely an interesting location with a lot of history. I look forward to returning for future investigations.

Miranda Stark:This location had a number of factors working against it, when it came to collecting evidence. There were many reflective surfaces, including mirrors and panes of glass everywhere within the facility. The "wokshop" section of the building was in a garage, which was a great open space, and did tend to create alot of echo sounds. One might believe they hear the shuffle of footsteps a few feet ahead or behind themselves when in actuality, it is most likely the echo of their own footsteps. Pictures were difficult to collect and evaluate, due to the high level of dust in the building, and workshop. The dust orbs were plainly visible on the dvr cameras, and in still photographs. After evaluating my personal collection of evidence, I found nothing noteworthy, or questionable going on at this location.

Shawn Walsh:The fine owner of this business invited us down to investigate his facility due to some recent footage caught on the camera system of the business. This coupled with the locales long history of reported activity dating back many years, many people, and multiple businesses. Recent reported activity includes odd sounds in the warehouse, feelings of extreme unease or being watched, and sounds of footsteps following people through the business. From the moment we arrived at the business we surmised photo or video analysis was going to be very tough at this location, due to the extreme volume of reflective surfaces at the business. I did not record any abnormal temperature fluctuations or EM fields during the investigation. During an EVP session there was some odd fluctuations in a light in the warehouse. Shortly there followed by my freshly replaced digital voice recorder batteries dyeing after just a few minutes of use. Outside of that I had no other personal experiences. On a side note I put the supposed dead batteries back in the same recorder once we got home and they reflected full once again. Hmmm. We also did hear an odd systematic thumping noise in the office/warehouse area. We tracked this source of this sound and found it to be automatic door that was locked shut but still hooked up to power and attempting to open when motion was detected. This could be just one possible explanation of the sound of footsteps… Physical Evidence Gathered and Reviewed: 1. 53 digital pictures - (Reviewed and no abnormalities found) 2. 3 hours of DVR Infrared video to review (Reviewed and no abnormalities noted) 3. 45 minutes of digital audio. (Currently Reviewing.) I thank the owner and employee of the business that assisted us with the investigation. The location has a very interesting history and I would love to do a follow-up investigation if the activity spikes again.

Trista Walsh:This was my first official investigation so I more or less a training run for me. There is a lot to learn but I look forward to learning all the protocol and different tasks so I can be of more help to the group. In this investigation the owner had caught some footage of what appeared to be small man on video camera and employees feeling uneasy or being watched. Also they hear in a particular area, footsteps as someone walking. When we went in to investigate we did our evp session and during our questioning one of the lights surged, the owners said that never happens. Shortly after the light one of the tape recorders just went dead when there were brand new batteries put in. I did not have any personal experiences in this location.

EVPS
Possible EVP 1 - 08:45 PM - 30th April, 2008 - A Business on Southwest Blvd.
00:00 / 00:00

This is the first of two clips recorded at the same time in the office area where the video anomalies have been reported. There seems to be a voice saying something right after Becky says, "It was 80 when we first got here."

Possible EVP 2 - 08:45 PM - 30th April, 2008 - A Business on Southwest Blvd.
00:00 / 00:00

This is the second clip recorded at the same time from a different part of the room. This clip also starts with Becky saying, "It was 80 when we first got here." Then we hear someone say, "yeah." Also on this clip you hear this odd rhythmic almost digital beep in the background. Which was not present on any of the other recordings from this time, or on any of the Camcorder’s audio that was in this room as well.
