Question: How long have you lived here?
Answer: Since April 1, 2002, spouse since August 2002
Question: When did the phenomena start?
Answer: Didn't really notice until August 2002, although felt cool breezes move through the house from the front door inward.
Question: Is any certain hour of the day or certain rooms?
Answer: Door slam sounds were heard between 11 pm and 1 am
Question: Any visual apparitions?
Answer: Not really. Did see a shadow move across the wall in the bathroom once. Also, have witnessed the basement door opening on its own.
Question: How do the visual apparitions appear?
Answer: Just a shadow.
Question: Have there been any movements of objects that you see?
Answer: When we were redoing the bathroom, we were using the old sink in the basement. A razor was set parallel to the sink. When I got out of the shower, it was laying across the sink. This happened twice.
Question: Any apports (things appearing out of nowhere)?
Answer: N/A
Question: Any teleportation (things moving from one place to another)?
Answer: N/A
Question: Any sounds?
Answer: Door slamming is heard a lot. Sounds the same no matter which room you are in. Faint, as if in a different part of the house. Have also heard distant voices. Sounds like gibberish with four or five voices talking at once.
Question: Any voices? What do they say?
Answer: Sounds like gibberish
Question: Any cold spots?
Answer: Cool breezes that would pass through the house. One time, a cool breeze past through the living room wall to the outside. As soon as this happened, our two black labs started barking. They were staring at the side of the house.
Question: Any rushes of wind?
Answer: Just the breezes.
Question: Any touches or caresses?
Answer: One time in the kitchen. Felt a tug on the back of my shirt, and turned to ask my spouse what he wanted, but he was further away with his hands full of dishes.
Question: Any physical attacks?
Answer: No
Question: Any smells?
Answer: A lavender "old lady perfume" type of smell.
Question: Any past investigations, priests or clergy?
Answer: No
Question: Any use of Ouija boards, seances, automatic writing, etc?
Answer: No
Question: Did previous occupants, neighbors, or landlords know of the phenomena?
Answer: Asked the previous owner, and she said she never experienced anything. She also commented that no one had ever died VIOLENTLY here. Her husband died in 1998, but we do not know if he died in the house.
Question: How far back can you trace the history of the property?
Answer: Can trace the property records to 1857. I do have copies of the previous owners' deeds.
Investigators Notes
Kelli Patrick:I used my night shot video and EMF meter. Nothing was found on the video or meter. I did feel like someone was following us around in the "green room." I felt like someone was right behind me. It was fine in the rest of the home.
Becky Ray: During this investigation, I mostly experienced smells or odors. In the basement, I smelled a strong coconut-type aroma immediately before my Gauss meter spiked and then was completely drained. I put fresh batteries in before the investigation.
Upstairs in the kitchen area, I smelled a strong "fruity" type of smell. Almost like perfume, but not quite. I smelled this same aroma during our initial investigation of this home.
The door to the basement is a heavy wooden door that would not move on its own, and I could not pull it open without turning the knob. However, just as the homeowners had reported, shortly after we had shut this door and made sure it was latched, it opened on its own.

Everyone was in the kitchen when this E.V.P. was recorded. On this particular recorder it sounds as if it is saying "You Lied To Me Buddy".

In this EVP Bryan was in the living room getting something out of his gear bag, while the other Investigators were still in the kitchen talking to the homeowners. You will hear the EVP state "HELP" and then hear one of the homeowners talk about tile.

All of the Investigators were still in the kitchen talking to the homeowners when this was recorded. The husband of the household was talking about a part of their home they were remodeling and his wife responded with "yeah whatever". You will then hear an EVP say "YOU SEEK".

This EVP was recorded in the livingroom by Bryan. Jenny, Becky, and Kelli were in the Kitchen talking with the homeowners while Bryan returned to the livingroom to get another piece of equipment. The voice recorded seems to say "NO."

This EVP was recorded in the Attic/upstairs area of the home. I am not sure what it says. Though it sounds like a male child. Sounds like he is saying Auburn Grey (or perhaps auburn green). Others have suggested, the falcon prays, and others hear something entirely different. I definately hear 3 syllables in the phrase. Two Syllables in the first word and 1 syllable in the 2nd word.

This is the same EVP as the Auburn Grey recorded in the Attic/upstairs area of the home. There has been a lot of discussion involving this EVP in our chat forums, so Becky boosted the voice more and slowed it down. At this rate, it sounds more like it starts with an "R" sounds, and the two words are spoken by two different voices. Perhaps it is saying, "Robert Grey?"
Bryan was walking around the basement of the home when this was recorded. No alteration was made to the audio. This EVP is loud and clear, although it makes little sense to what its saying or its sentence structure.

Thanks to Brendan of the G.I.S., Bryan wanted a second opinion of the E.V.P. and so he sent the raw audio to Brendan. Brendan agrees with Bryan's assessment that it seems to say Glad (or God) You're Young, Haunted Is. The following clip was put through a few clean up filters by Brendan.
