Investigators Notes
Bryan Kaplan:Interesting home....felt strange in the basement and in one of the bedrooms. Some EVP's were recorded as well.
Jenny Kerr:On the initial walk through of the house there was definitely a presence in an upstairs bedroom. I had a long sleeve shirt on and still had goosbumps. The hair on my arms stood up and I had a tingling sensation througout my body. This feeling was not as strong, for me, in the masterbath where others felt a strong presence or down in the finished basement area. On the start of the investigation investigator Bryan and I headed upstairs. I took several pictures with my digital camera but came up empty on capturing anything. I was unable to take any photos of the bedroom with the strong presence since the homeowners son and grandduaghter had arrived home. Close to the end of the investigation we all set together in the living listening to the home owner talk about his mother. A spiral notebook sat on the arm of the couch next to investigator Kelli when the cover opened slowly and came to rest on the couch arm. I had turned my head to look at another investigator talking, but saw the movement from the corner of my eye and heard a soft "thump" as it hit the couch arm. This was my first experience actually seeing something move on it's own! Kelli recreated how she was sitting on the couch and moved her arm, but moving her arm would not initate the notebook cover opening, nor would the fan that sat next to the homeowner. The notebook would close with the breeze of the fan, but instead the notebook opened against the breeze.
Beth McLenaghan:Elements of this investigation really "wigged me out". I felt horribly strong aversions to parts of this home. I'd been there several times before, and had a consistent reaction to the same spaces- namely the basement "home theatre" space. I felt very unsettled and unwelcome there. It was in this part of the home where some of the more unpleasant EVPs were nabbed. On the second floor- there was a very strong negative energy in one bedroom, so strong I felt the need to avoid it completely. In another bedroom, the opposite was true. The homeowners had joked in the past that they had a "potty portal" and while it was amusing- the second floor office of this home had the most concentrated energy flow I've ever experienced anywhere. It was a lot like when a tv gets a build up of dust/static, and you can feel it inches from the screen- that's how the second floor office felt.
Hugh McLenaghan:This was a very interesting investigation. Not long after we got there, we went for a tour of the house to get a general feel for the place and see if any of us felt hot-spots. After coming out of one of the bedrooms upstairs I got a chill (which happens rarely for me)! So I knew things would be interesting that night. After that I didn't feel anything, we'll see what happens once my video is analysed.
Kelli Patrick:During this investigation, I was set up at base (logging in findings while the investigators are moving around). I talked with one of the homeowners and he said that the family has seen shadows moving around in the upstairs hallway, moving from room to room. There have been shadows in the kitchen hallway between the bathroom and pantry. The daughter saw a woman crossing the upstairs hall. Sounds- are doors opening/closing, footsteps, names being called, TV turns on/off, things "fall" in kitchen, when they don't. Touch- the cold spots move around and something grabbed the wife's foot while she was sleeping. Smells- pipe smoke from his deceased father, burning tar, deceased mother's cigarette smoke (certain brand of cigarette). As base, I logged in many things that investigators felt and got off their equipment. Orbs were caught on a couple of digital cameras throughout the house. Chills and goosebumps by several people. On the stairs leading up to the second floor, people felt a heaviness like they were being pushed from the top of their body. There were also feelings of being watched from the master bedroom (at the top of the stairs). Beth felt like there was an energy or vortex just inside a couple of the rooms upstairs. Dee had felt an angry energy like it was pissed off in the storage room in the basement. Hugh and Bryan saw something through the viewfinder of the video camera. Our group came back to base to talk about what happened. I was sitting on the couch with my arms crossed and there was a spiral notebook on the arm rest. The cover of the notebook opened up. The fan was facing us, but the notebook opened up against the current of the fan. The fan opening it was ruled out. This was not caught on tape because we were using our cameras elsewhere. My video didn't show anything except for the hallway.
Becky Ray:On the walk through, I kept getting a very uneasy feeling in the same location at the top of the stairway just outside of the master bedroom. Everytime I'd walk through that area I would feel an uncomfortable heavyness in my chest.
In the master bathroom I felt fine until I stood still. Then a feeling of paranoia crept over me. I was in there with Beth, but it definitely felt like there was at least one other in there with us.
When we went back to base to report our findings from the initial walk through, I suddenly felt totally drained of all energy. I was looking directly at the notebook by Kelli when it slowly opened by itself.

EVPS
This EVP was recorded in the home theater of the house located in the basement. Investigators Hugh, Beth and Dee had been sitting in the theater for approximately one minute when this voice was recorded. It seems to say, "I want you, witch."

Recorded in a storage area of the basement, the end of this EVP is not clear. The first part says, "Who are you?" followed by three sylables we cannot make out.

Investigators Beth and Dee were in the home theater discussing various aches and pains when this EVP is heard over our voices twice saying Get Out!

I felt some very angry energy in the storage area of the basement. I asked why this person was angry and why they stayed in the room. This was the reply.

This was the response I received when i asked the being in the storage area why they stayed in the room. The voice isn't clear and appears to say either "want to" or "want you."

This was recorded in the living room of the home. There are two parts to this EVP. Between the investigators talking you will hear a help me. And later in the clip you will hear help me, watch your foot. The first help me will loop two times followed by "Help Me...Watch Your Foot" repeating two times.
