Becky Ray:The P-SB7 is the first production built Spirit Box designed exclusively for Paranormal enthusiasts. The P-SB7 made its premier debut on Ghost Adventures "LIVE" show from the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum on October 30, 2009.
According to the show from the moment it was turned ON, The P-SB7 provided "real time" responses to questions over a 40 minute segment of the show.
Several of our members had expressed an interest in trying this out due to other groups telling us about the experiences they have had with the radio.
On every use we have received nothing but the expected radio noise. Any "voices" coming through have simply been from the radio stations being scanned and have had nothing to do with any of our questions or locations.
We will continue to experiment with it to see if our results ever change, but to date I remain unimpressed.
Jennifer Sprague:To be honest I'm not impressed with any of the so called "Spirit Radios" on any of the TV shows. The version we tested was one of the first seen in "Ghost Adventures" and since then, it has became even more of a gadget that people have became more interested in using on investigations. There are all sorts of different types and updated types out there. I think people hear what they want to hear and there is no legitimate proof that these radios, etc can communicate with spirits. In our experiment all we heard was random static and words and could pick out any of them to fit anything. At one point in time I was a little interested in more updated versions that had the static removed and different settings so that things could be heard more clearly, however, I thought to myself that if the idea is that a spirit can use its energy to manipulate words to generate them, or use the radio or generator to speak through, then couldn't we also use the idea that we, too can manipulate it with our own energy? So the next time you hear a nickname that only your grandmother called you come out of a radio or a generator, perhaps your focus and energy created and not a spirit's. Of course there is a lot more testing and study that needs to be done on that idea... for now, I don't believe that there is anything that would suggest that these radios are with out a doubt helping spirits.
