Investigators Notes

Kevin Glasow:First of all I would like to thank everyone at Whatsoever Community Center for having us back again! Their building is amazing in a historical sense alone; the activity is just an added bonus! This trip we were able to bring several more members and cover more of the building using more equipment. Our first experience of the evening was when we were taking our tour of the basement, when both Becky and Bryan heard voices in an empty room. We tried splitting up the groups in three teams, one to remain on each floor. I was in the basement in that time, but personally experienced nothing. Once we regrouped we tried several EVP sessions on the second floor where the majority of the experiences are reported. During this time everyone present seemed to hear various noises, ranging from movement to disembodied voices. Hopefully we have captured EVPs to document some of what we have heard!

Angela Hodge:First off thanks to the Whatsoever Community center staff for allowing us into a great historic place. You can really feel how much the staff enjoys working with such great kids by the look of the building inside. The building has a lot of orginal woodwork and framework still. You can feel the energy of children through out the whole building. At one time it was a hospital or clinic of some sort. ------------------------------------------------------------ When I first got there Kevin and Becky and Jennifer were talking to the staff about there last finding and some EVP's. The night seem to be fairly quiet for myself untill we were on the 2nd floor. We decided to do an EVP session and ask in general questions. I sat near Bryan and Jennifer up against a wall looking toward Jennifer. At times I would hear knocking sounds toward the stairs and occasional footstep. At one point i felt a breeze pass by me. Through out our time there on the 2nd floor several times I kept feeling like I was seeing a Nurse coming up the stairs. A couple of time Jennifer would make the comment she could feel something or hear something. The nurse had a hat of some sort on her head with a her hair pulled up and looked to be carrying something up the stairs. We decided to check out one of the classrooms upstairs and we all commented when we heard a sound like a crackling or popping sounds in the corner of the room. This was my first time there I felt like this time was not as active as I heard from the last time and that can happen at times. I did however take some photo's of some interesting stuff and I have some EVP's to go over that I have questions on if anything comes of it I'll post it here for you to review also. Thanks Again!!! Whatsoever Staff!!!

Bryan Kaplan:I definately felt as if I was being watched, but the sensation wasn't as strong as it was the last time. I hope to get to my audio soon.

Becky Ray:On this investigation I used an IR video camera, and a 35mm still camera.
This is a very interesting place, and you can almost feel the history of the building. A couple of interesting things happened to me while we were there this evening. While in the basement, both Bryan and myself heard what sounded like voices coming from inside the old food pantry room, but no one was in there. When I found a radio I thought I'd found the source of what we were hearing, but the radio was not on.
While we sat vigil on the second floor in the hallway, several people reported hearing footsteps on the staircase and in an office near where we were. I didn't hear either of these sounds, but did see a tiny white pin sized "light" zoom above Jennifer's head shortly before footsteps were reported behind her.
I'd like to go back a few more times and do a more in depth investigation of this building!

Jennifer Sprague:First, I want to thank the Whatsoever Community Center for allowing us to come back and do another investigation. You all were wonderful! On this investigation I used my 35 mm camera. I personally didnt really notice anything strange until we did an evp session on the top floor. It was during this time that I began to hear strange creaking noises coming from the stairs, what was interesting was that that the creaks seem to coincide with our questions and I also I thought it was interesting that most of the noises that the staff had been hearing had been coming from the stairs. Although this is an old building and creaks would be common, I thought it interesting that the creaks seem to have a repition and pattern which didnt sound like an old building 'settling' to me. At one point I thought I had heard a light talking during this evp session also and I would also like to note that others noted it too. Im in the process of going over my photos and I will post them if I find anything interesting in them. I look forward to going back and working with such great people!
