Beth McLenaghan:This trip to the Lemp, though fun, was perhaps the least productive trip we've made. I had a few uncomfortable moments. I enjoyed the seance (was my first) but felt like we were consistently on the edge of something happening, and it just never did. I got about 30 photos with the typical "dust" orbs, and about 2-3 that were just odd enough to be interesting, but all with a digital camera, so nothing truly exciting.
Hugh McLenaghan:This was an interesting investigation. More so than normal because a radio staion (www.971talk.com - St. Louis) and also another paranormal group (Paravision)were present. The radio station had brought a psychic with them as well as winers of a competition. They had a seance in the attic which was recorded. We didn't feel or see anything strange while we were there, but we did get some weird EVPs.

Initially, it felt like it was going to be a quiet night. There was a lot of human activity in the home, and that seemed to be covering anything else that might have been happening. But as things slowed down during dinner, the house seemed to come back to its normal self. Shortly after we ate they asked the psychics the radio station had invited to perform a seance in the attic space near what was "Zeke," or the Monkey-faced boy's play area. We watched this seance from IR cameras on a monitor in the Elsa Lemp room, but saw nothing of note. What struck me as odd was that no one seemed to make any attempt to contact Zeke. Everyone was trying to talk to Billy or Charles. All of the investigators from both our group and Paravision in the Elsa Lemp room felt as if the activity at that time as definitely occuring on the second floor and the attic area was very quiet. Beth and I moved to the second floor and on our way down the stairs witnessed a shadow a short way ahead of us and thought that someone must have been just in front of us going down. When we reached the second floor we discovered that no one was there! We did a quick double check, but no one could have been that close in front of us. We remained on the second floor until Paravision came down and invited us up to participate in the second seance.
During this second seance, only one of the psychics remained. Again, however, she tried to contact Billy Lemp first. Almost immediately I felt someone tapping on my forehead. I tried to ignore it, thinking it was a tickle, but it got stronger. Finally I had to say something about it. Later in the seance, the psychic asked if I felt someone over my right shoulder. At that time I had been feeling a tickle on my right ear that I had been trying to ignore, as if someone were rubbing it from the top down to the lobe. I guess someone wanted my attention!
I later asked the psychic to address Zeke, since she was the one who claims he was real and we were sitting in what she called his area and yet she was not talking to him. She seemed hesitant, but finally said he liked having people to play with and left it at that.
After we returned home and I heard Hugh's EVP that sounds as if it is saying my name near where Billy killed himself, and remembering the ear incident, I have to wonder what it was that Billy was trying to tell me that night.

We were in the restaurant and Becky was ordering what she wanted. Initially she couldn't remember, so there is a pause when she says "chicken" then there is a whispery voice saying something like "Ramone" then you hear the waiter finish.

This was recorded during a seance in the attic. You hear a voice say "Want a drink?" then a weird laugh.
